HOW TO PLAY BACK TO GAME
WHAT IS FORMA-FIGHT?

FORMA-FIGHT is a real-time multiplayer battle arena where you control a geometric vessel. Eat food to grow larger, fight other players in contact-based PvP combat, and survive a shrinking zone to be the last one standing.

Every match starts with all players spawning at size 20 on a massive circular map (radius 20,000). The world slowly shrinks over 9 minutes across 4 phases, forcing players into tighter spaces. Grow your vessel by eating food scattered across the map, eliminate enemies to steal their mass, and use your abilities to gain the upper hand.

There are four vessel types to choose from, each with its own speed, damage, defense, and special class ability. As you play, you earn XP to unlock session upgrades each life and invest in a permanent skill tree that carries across all lives and matches.

You can play as a guest or create a free account to save your progress, unlock cosmetics, track achievements, add friends, and climb the leaderboard.

CONTROLS
MOUSE & KEYBOARD
INPUTACTION

MOBILE / TOUCH

On mobile devices, a virtual joystick appears where you touch the screen. Ability buttons are displayed at the bottom right. All gameplay features work the same as desktop.

SPECTATE MODE

After dying, you enter spectate mode where you can watch other players in the match. Use this time to learn tactics and observe ability combos before respawning.

MINIMAP

The minimap (bottom-right corner, 240x240) shows the zone boundary, your position, nearby players, aurums (gold dots), and the bounty target. Keep an eye on it to stay aware of zone timing and enemy positions.

TIP
You can enable Keyboard Movement in Settings to move with WASD independently from mouse aim. Great if you prefer keyboard-only controls.
VESSELS (SHAPES)

Choose your vessel before entering the arena. Each shape has different base stats and a unique class ability that activates with SPACE.

SAUCER (CIRCLE)

Turbo Boost — Massively increases your speed for 4 seconds. Perfect for chasing down enemies or escaping danger. Cooldown: 5s.
TITAN (SQUARE)
Role: Heavy
Speed: 5.4 (slowest)
Damage: 0.8x (reduced)
Defense: 0.6x (strongest — takes 40% less contact damage)
Fortify — Hardens your body, drastically reducing damage taken for 2.5 seconds. Stand your ground and outlast attackers. Cooldown: 5s.
FIGHTER (TRIANGLE)
Role: Strike
Speed: 6.7 (fast)
Damage: 1.5x (highest)
Defense: 1.0x (normal)
Furious Dash — A short, explosive burst of speed that deals bonus damage on impact. Use it to ram into enemies for a devastating first strike. Cooldown: 5s.
SATELLITE (STAR)
Role: Command
Speed: 6.3 (moderate)
Damage: 1.0x (normal)
Defense: 1.0x (normal)
Signal Push — Pushes all nearby enemies away from you with a force blast. Great for creating space or knocking enemies into the zone. Cooldown: 5s.
COMBAT

Combat in FORMA-FIGHT is contact-based. When two players touch, they deal damage to each other simultaneously. The player dealing more damage wins the exchange and drains the other's size.

HOW DAMAGE WORKS
KILLS & DEATH
BOUNTIES

The player with the most kills gets a bounty marker visible on everyone's minimap. Killing the bounty player rewards extra loot. Skill tree nodes like Apex Hunter give bonus rewards for bounty kills.

TIP
Don't just chase kills early. Focus on eating food to reach a safe size (40+) before engaging in PvP. A bigger vessel has a massive advantage in combat.
FOOD & GROWTH

The map is scattered with up to 9,000 food particles. Move over them to eat and grow. Growth is your primary way of increasing both your HP and your combat power.

TYPEDESCRIPTION
AurumsRare golden orbs that give 25x the growth and XP of normal food. Only 3 exist on the map at a time. They move around and respawn 20 seconds after being eaten. Hunt these down for rapid growth. Visible as gold dots on the minimap.
Death OrbsDropped when a player dies. Contains a portion of the dead player's mass. These are extremely valuable — rush to collect them before anyone else does.
MAGNETISM

The Magnetism session upgrade (+12px per level) and the Magnetism permanent skill tree node (+8px per rank) increase your food pull range. Food within range is pulled toward you automatically, making farming much more efficient. At higher ranks, food flies toward you faster and from further away.

THE ZONE

The playable area shrinks over the course of the match, forcing players into closer quarters. A red boundary ring marks the edge of the safe zone. The map starts at radius 20,000 and shrinks across 4 phases.

Keep an eye on the minimap. When the zone starts shrinking, get moving immediately. Being caught outside when it closes can kill you in seconds.

Various pickups and powerups spawn across the map. Collect them by moving over them.

SHIELD PICKUPS

Shield pickups are scattered around the map in two sizes:

Shields stack up to 100% and absorb damage before your HP is affected. A blue glow surrounds shielded players.

TIP
The Graviton skill tree node makes powerups 3% stronger per rank, and the Extended milestone (R5) makes timed powerups last 3 seconds longer. If you invest in this node, powerups become significantly more impactful.
SESSION UPGRADES

As you eat food and get kills, you earn XP. Leveling up gives you a session upgrade point to spend on temporary buffs that last for your current life. When you die, these reset.

TIP
Early game, Magnetism and Scavenger help you grow faster. Mid-game, shift to Momentum for chasing or Plating for survivability. Adrenaline is great if you use your abilities often.
PERMANENT SKILL TREE

The skill tree is your permanent progression. You earn permanent skill points (up to 150 total) by gaining XP across all your lives. These upgrades persist forever and give you lasting advantages.

There are 3 branches with 8 nodes each (plus 1 hidden node in the Survival branch). Each node can be ranked up to Rank 10, with powerful milestones at Rank 5 and Rank 10. Reaching Rank 5 on a node also unlocks loadout abilities tied to that node.

TIP
Reaching Rank 5 on a skill tree node unlocks a loadout ability tied to that node. Plan your skill point investment around which abilities you want to unlock first.
LOADOUT ABILITIES

Loadout abilities are powerful active skills you equip before entering a match. You can equip up to 6 abilities (7 with Grand Architect R5) in your loadout slots, activated with number keys 1 through 7.

Each ability is unlocked by reaching Rank 5 on its linked skill tree node. Abilities have individual cooldowns.

PLASMA CANNON
Fires a piercing bolt that deals 25 flat damage plus 8% of the target's max HP. Long range, fast projectile.

Chain-slash — zip to each enemy in range, slashing them in sequence like chain lightning.

REND
Surrounds you with a bleed aura that drains 7% HP per second from nearby enemies for 4 seconds.

EXECUTE
Targets the closest enemy for 100 damage. Deals 200 damage if the target is below 25% HP.

Unleash 12 devastating laser projectiles in all directions with massive range.

Sends out shockwaves that knock enemies back — main pulse plus 4 scattered aftershocks.

STUN
Slams the ground for 5% HP damage and stuns nearby enemies for 2 seconds.

MIRROR
Projects a mirror shield for 5s — absorbs 90% of damage and reflects 30% back at attackers.

Fire a counter-missile that intercepts and destroys an incoming revenge rocket.

DECOY

Places a black hole that continuously pulls nearby enemies toward it for 5 seconds.

LEECH FIELD
Drains 5% HP/sec from nearby enemies and heals you 5% for each enemy drained.
Unlocks: Synthesis R5 | Cooldown: 10s
RIFT
Opens a dark portal for 4 seconds. Walk back into it to teleport to a random location.
Unlocks: Prodigy R5 | Cooldown: 15s
PRESTIGE SYSTEM

Once you have spent all 150 permanent skill points in the skill tree, you unlock the ability to Prestige. Prestiging resets your skill tree but grants powerful permanent benefits:

TIP
Each prestige locks one node permanently. After 10 prestiges, you can have up to 10 nodes permanently maxed at Rank 10. Choose carefully — the strongest strategies focus on locking nodes that unlock the abilities you rely on most.
PRO TIPS
EARLY GAME
Focus on eating food and finding Aurums. Avoid combat until you're at least size 40. If a bigger player chases you, use your class ability to escape. The soft cap at size 80 slows growth, so transition to PvP after that.
MID GAME
Once you've leveled up session upgrades and grown to size 60+, start looking for fights. Target players smaller than you. Use the minimap to spot isolated targets. Grab death orbs from other players' kills for rapid growth.
LATE GAME
When the zone shrinks, positioning is everything. Stay near the center. Use abilities to control space. Save your class ability for emergency escapes. Shield pickups spawn during zone shrinks — grab them for survival.
LOADOUT COMBOS
Strong combos include: Stun + Execute (stun then finish), Gravity Well + Death Blossom (pull in then nuke), Shadow Step + Blade Surge (teleport in and slash), Small Shard + Rend (shield yourself while bleeding nearby enemies), Tether + Leech Field (slow and drain multiple enemies).
SKILL TREE STRATEGY
Don't spread your skill points thin. Focus on one branch first to hit Rank 5 milestones and unlock abilities. Unlocking 2-3 strong abilities early gives you a bigger advantage than having 8 nodes at Rank 2.
SURVIVAL
The Titan (square) with Survival branch skill tree nodes is extremely hard to kill. Combine Fortify + Small Shard + Anchor for overlapping damage immunity windows. Mirror reflects damage back, and Immortal lets you cheat death.
AGGRESSION
The Fighter (triangle) with Vanguard skill tree is the highest damage build. Furious Dash into enemies, follow up with Blade Surge or Execute. The 1.5x damage multiplier makes every hit devastating.
DAILY REWARDS
Log in every day to build your login streak and earn Star Credits (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 75 per day). Complete daily challenges for bonus credits. Spend them in the Star Store on cosmetics.
